About EveryBody Works NCEmployee with disabilities in wheelchair leading group discussion.Inclusion in the workplace allows people to develop leadership and communications skills – and thrive.

EveryBody Works NC welcomes the support and participation of any organization or individual interested in promoting employment for people with disabilities and closing the employment gap.

The campaign is increasing awareness of the untapped pool of talent found in the disability community and working to create more jobs and job-oriented educational opportunities for people with disabilities. In addition, the campaign is educating self-advocates and their families about the value of employment and how to access employment, training and education programs to improve an individual’s employability.

The campaign is interested in participating in special events, speaking opportunities and stories about employment successes for people with disabilities during National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) in October and beyond. This includes local North Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation (NCVR) events, disability community activities and efforts by strategic partners including LMEs and MCOs.
