Five Year Plan
The NCCDD uses its Five Year Plan to identify critical needs and issues related to services and supports for people with developmental disabilities and their families. NCCDD also uses its Plan to set forth priorities for funding. Each Plan covers a five-year time period. The Council reports outcomes of its activities on an annual basis. The NCCDD Five Year Plan directs the Council's activities from 2011 through 2016. The Plan was developed with input from people with developmental disabilities, their families and the agencies, organizations, businesses, and individuals across the state. The draft State Plan (pdf) is under review by the Administration on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (AIDD).
