The North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities (NCCDD) has begun its Five Year State Plan (5YSP) process in gathering input from the disability community to create its goals for the next five years – 2022-2026.The Plan is the Council’s blueprint for creating a better North Carolina for individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities (I/DD).
North Carolina residents’ input and information will be collected through a series of “Conversations with the Council - Virtual Road Tour”.
To participate in a Virtual Road Tour session, please go to NCCDD’s website at www.nccdd.org.
In addition to the virtual listening sessions, the Council will seek in-depth information through Individual, Family, and Community Stakeholder online surveys beginning in May which can also be found on NCCDD’s website.
June 6 is also open to individuals anywhere in North Carolina who were not able to attend the May listening sessions.
