Let’s Talk Transition! – A PANEL DISCUSSION – with a panel of Self-Advocates, Parents, & Professionals

PANEL MODERATED BY:
Kenneth Kelty, a Disability Advocate at the CIDD. He completed the UP Program at Western Carolina and has been a NC LEND Trainee. He is a passionate advocate and motivational speaker on life with disabilities and received the SARTAC Fellowship Award which provides support for him to work on his podcast, “Exceeding Expectations with Kenneth Kelty.”

Join us for a candid panel discussion on the Transition-From-School experience for people with IDD, with Students, Families, Educators, and Professionals. We also want to hear from YOU!

Learning Objectives:

  1. Awareness of the next steps in Transition after high school or college
  2. Understand some of the typical challenges one might face during Transition
  3. Learn what opportunities for people with IDD are out there after graduation
