Tonight: COVID-19 Webinar

COVID 19 Webinar

On Wednesday, March 11 at 5:00 PM, the Division of MH/DD/SAS will host a Webinar with a call-in option to provide an update about the preventive measures we are advising the public to take to prevent the spread of COVID-19.  During the webinar we will also discuss the steps we are taking to prevent and protect our patients at State Operated Healthcare Facilities and service recipients across our system including those receiving services in community settings. Participants will be given the opportunity to ask questions in our effort to make sure that you have the facts about COVID-19 that will help you to make the best decisions about your health and the health of your loved ones. DHHS, BH and IDD Deputy Secretary Kody Kinsley will lead the discussion and will be joined by our Chief Medical Officer, Carrie Brown, MD and the Director of State Operated Health Facilities, Helen Wolstenholme, and Division of Health Benefits/NC Medicaid Deputy Secretary Dave Richard.
