Upcoming Public Meetings

Meetings of the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities (NCCDD) are held throughout the year and are open to the public. This page provides the dates, times, and other details of upcoming meetings.

During the quarterly meetings, NCCDD provides a time for Public Comment on the last day of the public meeting at 10:00 a.m. This usually occurs on the Friday morning of each quarterly meeting. You can request to attend to make public comment by emailing Philip Woodward at philip.c.woodward@dhhs.nc.gov at least 24 hours prior.

Location: This is a hybrid meeting, both in-person in Cary, NC and online via ZoomGov.

NCCDD's Monthly Policy Education Meeting
Thursday, August 14, 2025 – 11:00 am

The North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities' public policy efforts are to promote public policy information that educates and informs the people we serve and key decision-makers. We support policies that encourage the integration between people with intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD), those who support them, and the community.

The North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities provides public policy education. It does not lobby on specific legislation.

Join our Public Policy Education Meetings on the second Thursday of every month. They are free and open to the public.
