Description

You're invited to join  L’Arche North Carolina’s community of people with and without intellectual and developmental disabilities for our monthly Cook Together Event! L'Arche NC is an organization that strives to cultivate a kinder world within which people across a range of abilities can participate in an inclusive, flourishing community.

Our Cook Together Event takes place on the first Thursday of every month. Through a wonderful partnership with Edenton Street UMC, we have the opportunity to host our events at their Youth Bulla Center (Address: 301 W. Jones Street, Raleigh, NC). The building is fully accessible, and there is plenty of free parking!

Each gathering lasts for two hours and includes the following activities:

- A get-to-know-you question at the beginning of our session

- A recipe for friends to work within teams towards completion

- A game or a craft during waiting time

- A time to clean up and share any exciting news!

We'd love for you to join our community! To sign up for Cook Together or any other L'Arche NC event, please visit our event page at larchenc.org/events. To join our volunteer Welcome Team, please email our Program Coordinator Sam at [email protected].
