My Story Matters

Your story matters! When you share your story, you help people understand what life is like for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). You also help them learn what is important to you and the I/DD community. Sharing your story can help teach leaders and lawmakers in North Carolina how to make life better for people with I/DD.

The North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities (NCCDD) offers a way for you to easily share your story through its My Story Matters campaign.
