Through NCCDD's Five-Year Plan, the Council funds initiatives that aim to improve the lives of people with intellectual or other developmental disabilities (I/DD). Learn about the impact of our initatives, and find information on how to apply for funding opportunities.

Current Initiatives

The Council supports initiatives focused on financial asset development, community living, and advocacy development for individuals with intellectual or other developmental disabilities.

Past Initiatives

The goal of the Council's initiatives is to create change to make a positive impact on North Carolinians with intellectual or other developmental disabilities. 

Funding Opportunities

The Council funds projects by issuing a Request for Applications (RFA) and provides support for people with I/DD to attend conferences.
