NCIL: How Reading Typically Develops

Description: Funded by the U.S. Department of Education, NCIL is a partnership led by Boston University’s Wheelock College of Education and Human Development, along with Florida State University and RMC Research Corporation. They are dedicated to advancing evidence-based teaching methods for pre-K through grade 12 students with literacy-related disabilities, including dyslexia.
Learning Objectives:
- To learn evidence-based information on how reading typically develops in children, including key reading-related milestone
- To learn how to interact with children in ways that support and monitor their language and reading development
